By downloading and using nTab ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to use our Extension.

2. Use License

nTab grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Extension for your personal or business use, subject to these Terms.

You may:

  • Install and use the Extension on supported browsers
  • Create and manage your personal bookmarks
  • Share bookmarks with the community
  • Customize your new tab experience

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Extension
  • Use the Extension for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limitations
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

3. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by nTab and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4. User Content and Bookmarks

Bookmark Management

  • You can customize the display of up to 24 bookmarks
  • You retain full ownership of your bookmark data
  • All bookmark data is stored locally on your device

5. Third-Party Services and Data

The Extension integrates with:

  • GitHub API for trending repositories
  • Hacker News API for stories and discussions
  • Next Idea API for project recommendations
  • Favicon services for bookmark icons

We are not responsible for third-party services' content, availability, or practices.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Continuous availability of all features
  • Accuracy of third-party data (GitHub trends, Hacker News)
  • Compatibility with all browser versions

7. Limitation of Liability

nTab shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:

  • Use or inability to use the Extension
  • Loss of bookmark data or settings
  • Inaccurate or outdated information from third-party sources
  • Changes to browser functionality that affect the Extension

8. Changes to the Extension

We reserve the right to:

  • Update the Extension functionality
  • Add or remove features
  • Change storage limitations
  • Modify API integrations

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through:

  • Extension update notes
  • Notifications in the new tab interface

We may restrict or terminate access for:
